Furniture design is another very interesting field and if you look at the past 50 years, some amazing stuff has happened in that industry as well. At the fore front of many design classics is the company Vitra. The Eames chairs and many others are nowadays exclusively available through them, of course for rather high prices. Vitra also offers miniatures of the originals, the only problem is that these miniatures cost almost as much as the real one, because the exact same materials are used and they are all handmade.
