Vans Spring 2009

New styles from the Vans Spring 2009 Collection have been released.
The “Stripes” pack consists of the Chukka and the Authentic. Both come in a mix of striped canvas and suede. The pack looks very clean and just right for spring.

Nike SB x Fly x Triumvir “Beijing” Dunk Mid

An interesting project will be releasing soon in China, that involved the Chinese skate stores Fly and Cali brand Triumvir. Together they worked with Nike SB on the “Beijing” Dunk Mid.

“The inspiration and concept of the shoe was based on “a Beijing native’s perspective of their own city, with the slogan skate towards Tienanmen Square.” The Dunk Mid is going to be a special edition for fly’s Beijing shop and the first Nike shoe ever to be named after China’s great northern metropolis, “Beijing.” We were asked to incorporate the following categories of what Beijing is known for into the design of the shoe: dust, traffic, highways, noodles, Tienanmen Square, and the capital of China.

The Dunk Mid was chosen to represent Beijing because Jeff loves to skate in Dunk Mids. We suggested using premium tumbled leather for the black panels. The gray tones were used to symbolize the colors of the city’s high-rises and highways. The graphic on the insole is a combination of flystreetwear x triumvir’s logo.”



As you can see a lot of different aspects of Beijing and Chinese culture went into the shoes.

VANS X SUPREME

As part of their upcoming Bad Brains collaboration, Supreme once again gets together with Vans. This time the NYC brand worked on the Mountain Edition and the Old Skool. Both styles come in red, green, black and navy leather uppers and a tan leather patches on the heel. Furthermore the lining features a black/white pattern and the heel a red Vans x Supreme tag.

Jordan Brand December 2008 Releases

Some strong releases from the Jordan Brand are coming up in December 2008. The brand will be introducing new interesting colorways of the more casual PHLY. The PHLY Legends Pack is also in the mix.

Furthermore the Air Jordan Force 20 is coming in a series of interesting colorways and materials, with lots of details. Last but not least the Air Jordan 1 Retro comes in a red/black/white and blue/black/white colorway - if you are looking for something really classic, this is the way to go.

Isetan Art Convenience Store

Isetan, the Japanese department store, opened today the Art Convenience Store, a new temporary section, that presents a special line-up of products by companies such as Visionaire, Nike, Ksubi, Undercover, Visvim and many others. The idea is to present a range of products that are made in collaboration with artists.

Interesting products that you will find in the Isetan Art Convenience Store are a Visionaire x Goyard trunk, that features 50 issues and they are msde to order. Also they will be carrying a special UGG boot collection, with several boots designed by Japanese artists and brands, the Visvim x Mastermind FBT Shaman, special Undercover product, a Hello Kitty Kubrick and more.

Ian Ginoza x Converse Red Chuck Taylor Low "Epi"

Ian Ginoza from the Kicks/Hi and St. Alfred family, gives us a first preview of his upcoming collaboration with Converse Red on the Chuck Taylor Low "Epic", which will be part of the Converse Red 100 collection.
It come with an upper entirely made of epi leather, reminding us of the Louis Vuitton Epi collection.
Also it looks like the sneaker will come with velcro straps instead of laces. The inner sole features Ian's signature.

Nike Air Force 1 "Closing Ceremonies"

The Beijing Olympics are coming to an end this weekend and Nike is celebrating it with yet another special release - the Nike Air Force 1 "Closing Ceremonies". What other color than gold could the sneaker have come in? None, right. It also features a laser etched graphic over the upper

Nike Olympic Mascot Pack

Nike continues to celebrate the upcoming Beijing Olympics with footwear releases around the event. The latest one we come across is connected to this years mascots.

"Inspired by the Olympic Mascots, Fuwa, Nike is going to release a Olympic Mascots Pack in this month with 5 different models. Designed to express the playful qualities of five little children who form an intimate circle of friends, Fuwa also embody the natural characteristics of four of China’s most popular animals — the Fish, the Panda, the Tibetan Antelope, the Swallow — and the Olympic Flame."

MOB x Colette x Reebok Freestyle Release

Last week we gave you a close look at the upcoming Married To The Mob x Colette x Reebok Freestyle. Here now some information on the release of the sneaker. It will be coming out on May 5th. Overall there are 350 pairs worldwide and 50 of them will be available through the MOB online store.

New Alife NYC S/S '08 Footwear

This is the next batch of Alife NYC Spring/Summer 2008 footwear. They have introduced several new models this season, including a running shoe and also a more casual "Clarks" like shoe. In this drop they bring classics as well as the new models in strong summer colors.

Adidas released the new Jam Master Jay pack. It consists of a Superstar sneakers, a trackjacket, t-shirt and also a polo shirt.

Concepts will be releasing two colorways of the Air Force Jordan VII this weekend. There is a white/lime green colorway and a more classic black/white colorway.

Bapesta x Sponge Bob Sneakers

In 2008 A Bathing Ape will be releasing an extensive SpongeBob collaboration collection. The collection will consist of t-shirts, hoodies and a lot more. A Bapesta is also among the releases, and that we show you here. It comes in all yellow patent leather, and has the SpongeBob character embroidered.

Nike has created a set of 100 strictly limited luxury Dunks - exclusively for selected Music lovers. This product will not be for sale.

The luxurious Dunks are made of patent leather with details that play with the colors Black, Red and Gold. Special features of the model are the use of 3M ScotchliteTM and a checkered midsole. Another special element of the shoe is the Zoom cushioning that is normally used in Nike SB Dunks.

This special Dunk comes together with a "Be True"-Shirt, a suitcase trolley and a special Dunk Hoody and will be given only to one hundred carefully selected guests on the occasion of the MTV Music Awards in Munich. The personal hand over will take place at Nike’s Dunk Studio – a temporary studio space located in Munich’s Glockenbach neighbourhood.

The studio showcases the universe of this sneaker Icon from its first days to contemporary executions such as selected styles of the Nike Sport Culture Spring 08 Collection.

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium - Takashi 2

As part of their October 2007 releases, Nike SB will be putting out later this month the Nike Dunk Low Premium SB "Takashi 2". Collaborating for the second time, Takashi Hosokawa designed this time a black leather, black suede sneaker with metallic silver swoosh and accents. Also the Dunk Low features a lasered floral pattern across the ankle/heel.
